Phoenix Players to Present The Foreigner

Lebanon, TN – The Cumberland University Phoenix Players are proud to bring you The Foreigner by Larry Shue, winner of two Obie Awards and two Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best New American Play and Best Off-Broadway Production. This hilarious comedy is set to open this Thursday, October 29th at 7:30pm and run through Sunday, November 1st. Sunday’s performance will be a special matinee performance slated to begin at 2:30pm. A wonderful variety of CU students make up the cast of The Foreigner, with Martin Cooper set to play “Froggy,” Nick Williams as Charlie, Brendan Tramel and Rin Taylor as Betty, Charlie Hodge and Chelsie Hochradel-Raines as Catherine, Jerry Shanes as David, alumnus Chris Byrd as Owen, and Mindy Spears as Ellard.
Tickets for The Foreigner are $7.00 for Adults and $5.00 for seniors and children 12 and under. CU Students are admitted free.
As a special for the Friday, October 30th performance, Castle Heights Chop House is offering a dinner/ticket combination where for $20.00 you will receive an entrée at the Chop House and a ticket to that evening’s performance.
