The Cumberland University Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to announce that CU Pride signs are now available as a free gift with a $10 contribution to the University's Annual Fund, according to CU Coordinator for Alumni Relations and Annual Giving Justin Bradford.

Bradford said the signs, which can be placed on lawns, in windows or at businesses, help show support for the University's general scholarship program while making a highly visible statement in support of Cumberland throughout the community.

"We've all seen lawn signs in support of area schools and universities, and we've often been asked when Cumberland might offer a similar program," he said. "We've been excited by the response thus far and look forward to growing this new method for sharing in the excitement and energy that surrounds CU."

CU Pride signs may be obtained in person at the Catron Alumni House any time between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. They will also be available at all home football games during the 2009 season and may also be secured online. Bradford's office will ship the signs anywhere in the world.

"And if someone lives in Wilson County or a neighboring county, we'll deliver the sign to their front yard for free," he added.
