Free Expert FAFSA Assistance Sunday at CU

Tennessee high school seniors and parents can learn about applying and paying for college by attending College Goal Sunday at Cumberland University on Sunday, Feb. 22 from 2 until 4 p.m. in Labry Hall on the CU campus.

College Goal Sunday offers students and parents completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) expert assistance from professionals in the financial aid and admissions offices. The FAFSA form, used at colleges, universities and technical schools across the country, should be submitted before March 1 to get the maximum aid available, even if the student has not selected a college.

Along with being the application for federal aid, the FAFSA form also serves as the application for the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship and the Tennessee Student Assistance Award programs, making it vital to the post-secondary application process in the state.
