Financial Management - This series of seminars has been designed primarily for mid - upper level managers who do not have degrees in accounting or finance, but who may have fiscal or budget management responsibilities. These courses can be offered in a number of customizable formats and lengths - depending on the desires and goals of the client. Financial management concepts range from financial statement analysis (focused primarily on the Income Statement or P&L, and Balance Sheet), the budgeting process, fiscal management of a non-profit entity, inventory management, and the legal and ethical aspects of financial management.
Customer Service Skills - This workshop is designed to identify and refine the many important skills required to effectively serve and retain customers in an increasingly competitive marketplace by enhancing their experiences with your company. Among other topics, the course content includes dealing with angry or upset customers, telephone etiquette, and methods for always ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Time Management & Business Communication Workshop - This seminar helps organizations and individuals to understand and apply proven techniques for managing the one resource that all of us have an identical amount of - i.e. time. The course also provides practical guidance for those who need to hone their public speaking and/or business presentation skills.
Problem Solving & Decision Making - Students in this workshop will learn how to apply a standardized approach to solving complex problems. Although this workshop is oriented toward work related problems, the techniques of root cause identification and expeditious problem resolution may also be applied to non-business situations. The course also provides participants with a standardized and easily executable approach to making defensible decisions. The techniques discussed may be used by individuals or in a group setting (e.g. a committee decision), and are equally applicable in the workplace or at home for personal decisions.
All of these and other similar workshops can be offered in a variety of formats including 2-hr evening sessions, 4-hr Saturday morning sessions, or weekday sessions in 2,4, or 8 hour increments. Our rates are negotiable, but generally we charge $250/person per workshop/seminar. We generally try to customize these training sessions to fit the specific needs of an individual company or city/municipality.
