Instant Message a Librarian
Need help with your research? Can't find the informtion you're looking for? Whether you're inside or outside our library, on-campus or off-campus, send us an instant message for immediate help! IM service is available during normal library hours.
You can instant message a librarian in two ways:
1. If you have the appropriate IM or chat software client installed on your machine, click on the Screen Name of the service you use. (Campus machines do not have clients installed.)
2. If you don't have the client, you can use a web version of your service by clicking one of the IM Service links. (Except for Google Talk).
(Don't have an account with an IM service? Signing up for one is easy. And it's free. Just click one of the IM Service links below.)
Problems?
If you're having difficulty using the IM Service, please contact Eloise Hitchcock by email or by phone 547-1351.
If a librarian does not answer within 2 minutes, he or she may be helping another patron. You may either wait for an answer or try again later. Note: There is often a delay of a few seconds between IM exchanges.
