The email reference service provided by the Doris and Harry Vise Library is for Cumberland University students, faculty, and staff. Every effort will be made to answer questions within 24 hours, excluding weekends, holidays and vacations. Your questions should be brief and factual in nature, rather than philosophical. For example, questions such as, "What are the dates of the Boer War?" are fine. Philosophical questions like, "Does God exist?" cannot be answered through this service. Your questions should be clearly stated, as we cannot contact you for clarification. Extensive research cannot be performed using this service.
