Vise Library oversees a campus reading program known as iRead, designed to affirm the importance of reading and to create a common reading experience for the Cumberland University community. We hope to encourage interaction among students and faculty and to promote critical thinking by facilitating reading and discussion of important books.
The iRead selection for the 2013-14 academic year is Shake the World by James Marshall Reilly.
Shake the World reveals the meteoric rise (and the occasional stumbles) of a new generation of business leaders. Reilly brings their stories to life and, along the way, offers clear lessons that you can apply to your own pursuits. This is not just a book about finding a job. It's a book about creating an inspired life.
