Master of Arts in Education with Emphasis in Educational Leadership

MAE - Educational Leadership

CU's Dr. Mildred Saffell-Smith.
The symposium on the future of Educational Leadership in Tennessee scheduled for Dec. 9th has been cancelled.

Cumberland University's Master of Arts in Education Degree Program with an emphasis in Educational Leadership is a program designed to help you advance toward an endorsement in administration and supervision. The program is a 36-hour, two-year cohort program blending in-class and on-line instruction and field experiences.

All Educational Leadership students seeking the administration endorsement must be certified teachers. The Educational Leadership program has an online component, which requires Internet and e-mail access. All degree-seeking and/or licensure students are required to purchase LiveText and to complete an electronic portfolio for review. Degree-seeking students are also required to complete a comprehensive exam in the last semester of work and to complete an Intent to Graduate form at least one full semester prior to graduation. Financial assistance in the form of student loans may be available for degree-seeking students.
