Mr. Eddie Pawlawski came to Cumberland University in October 2004 after spending more than 11 years with ACT, Inc. His responsibilities as Executive Vice President include overseeing Institutional Effectiveness, the offices of Student Affairs, Student and Residence Life and Activity, Student Success and Retention, the Academic Enrichment Center, the Career Services and Internships and the Counseling Center.  He also oversees multiple special projects for the university. Overall, he has nearly 30 years of experience in education and related areas.  He is active in numerous state, regional, and national organizations related to education, counseling, student services, enrollment management and community service.  These organizations include AACRAO, SACRAO, TACRAO, NASPA, TICUA, NACAC, SACAC, AIR, TNAIR, Kiwanis International, and Habitat for Humanity.  He has experiences as an advisor, a mentor, in researching and interpreting data, as chair of multiple campus committees, and as a liaison to state legislatures.  Mr. Pawlawski is a graduate of Murray State University with a teaching credential in music education. He also holds a M.Ed. in administration and supervision from Middle Tennessee State University. He and his wife, Mary Gordon Pawlawski, are active in the Lebanon community and enjoy spending time with family activities.
