Ms. Macke came to Cumberland University in 2008.  As Dean of Students, she oversees several areas of Student Affairs including the Student Leadership Academy, Student Government, Student Conduct, the Counseling Center, Disability Services, Multicultural Inclusion, and Service Learning initiatives.  She occasionally enjoys teaching classes within the Cumberland University Psychology department.

Ms. Macke graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and from the University of Southern Mississippi with her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. She is a Tennessee Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider status.

Ms. Macke is the Immediate Past Chairperson of the Coalition of Healthy and Safe Campus Communities (CHASCo), a coalition of institutions of higher education which works to implement evidence-based alcohol, drug, and violence prevention initiatives on campuses throughout the state of Tennessee.  She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Wilson County Community Partnership.
