Dr. Landis earned his doctoral degree in Management from the University of Phoenix and switched from teaching Speech and Communications to Management and Business courses. While at Cumberland he served as President of the Faculty Senate and was awarded the Teacher of the Year in 1998.

 

He has owned and operated several businesses, including a talent agency. He managed businesses as diverse as software education, a technology college and a restaurant.

 

Dr. Landis is an accomplished musician and performer.
