Dr. Adam Ketron graduated from Northern Kentucky University magna cum laude in Chemistry with an emphasis on Biochemistry in 2007. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemical & Physical Biology at Vanderbilt University in 2013 under the mentorship of Dr. Neil Osheroff, performing research on synthetic and natural poisons of human topoisomerase II. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Trevecca Nazarene University for the 2012-2013 academic year, and joined the faculty of Cumberland University in August 2013. Dr. Ketron currently teaches General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry.

In his free time, Dr. Ketron enjoys singing with Portara Ensemble and the Nashville Symphony Chorus, dabbling in choral composition, and exploring the many spectacular hiking trails of Middle Tennessee.
