Current Employment Position
Roy L. Jones is the Assistant Director of the Department of Codes & Building Safety, Metropolitan Government of Nashville/Davidson County. He has held that position for the last nine years.   Prior to assuming this position, he has held the positions of vice president (finance), controller, and senior tax/accounting manager for various private organizations in such industries as construction, commercial printing and public accounting.   In addition to his full-time job with government, Dr. Jones manages a tax and accounting firm which serves the general public.
