Rachel Henson graduated from Cumberland University in 2009 with her BS in Child Growth in Learning. While attending Cumberland University she was involved  in Cumberland Chorale, Alpha Sigma Tau, Student Tennessee Education Association, and the educational honor society Kappa Delta Pi. She is currently pursuing her MA degree in Education.

She is married to Sheridan Henson and they currently reside in Lafayette, Tennessee with their dog Gus.
