Office: W.P. Bone Hall, room 103
Phone: (615) 547-1331
Sarah Essary first joined the Cumberland University staff family in February of 2013, but has roots that go deeper still. She graduated from Cumberland University in May 2012 with a B.F.A. in Studio Art. She has received numerous awards for her artwork and academics here at the University, but has also received prestigious awards outside of the campus community. Before attending Cumberland University at a college level, Sarah was an active pupil in the C.U. Arts Academy art, violin, and voice programs, and had opportunities to be in the Phoenix Players theatrical performances since 2002.
Sarah hopes that her history and experiences here at Cumberland University will assist the students of the School of Humanities, Education and the Arts, and deepen the rich roots of Cumberland University's past and future.
