Terry Durham joined the faculty of the Labry School of Business & Technology in the fall of 2003. Prior to his arrival at CU, he taught both technical and end-user computer classes for Athena Computer Learning Center in Nashville. Mr. Durham worked more than nine years with Athena, teaching computer courses for some of the largest employers in the Nashville area. Before returning to school to pursue his M.S. in Computer Information Systems, he worked in the jewelry industry as a bench jeweler and in management.

Mr. Durham was one of the first 5,000 individuals to be awarded the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator certification. He also holds a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certificate in both Windows 2000 and Windows NT4. A Microsoft Database Administrator using SQL Server 2000, he is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer. Mr. Durham possesses certifications from Comptia in the areas of A+ Microcomputer Support and Services, Network+ and Internet Network+. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
