Dr. Art Criscoe has taught at Cumberland University since 1988. He received his Ph.D. in 1994, focusing on principles of teaching, leadership and administration. He has done additional studies at 10 other schools and universities. He has 25 years of curriculum development and managerial experience in religious publishing. Prior to that he was professor and academic dean at Columbia Bible College. He also served 15 years as a church pastor with family and individual counseling experience. He served as director of the MSO program at Cumberland University, 2003-2004. His wife, Dr. Alma Rivera Criscoe, is an oncologist and hematologist.

Author of more than 100 articles, workbooks, study guides, teaching guides and curriculum studies
Wrote and appeared in 10 educational television programs
Presently serves as senior editor, curriculum developer and writer for Christ to the World Ministries, a worldwide missions organization
