Chris Byrd
Technical Director of Theater
Chris Byrd is Technical Director to the Theater Department in the School of Music and the Arts at Cumberland University. He oversees set construction, technical needs, facilities management, and serves as producer for all dramatic performances within the School of Music and the Arts. He is the administrative assistant to the Department Director of Theater and administrative sponsor to the Cumberland University Chapter of the Alpha Psi Omega dramatic honors society: supervising workshops, student productions, and extracurricular activities for the Theater Department. Mr. Byrd graduated from Cumberland University in 2007 with a B.A. in Fine Arts with Theater Emphasis.
