BIOGRAPHY:

Education:

A.A., Bellevue College

B.S., Belmont University

Staci joined Cumberland University in October 2017 as a Development Officer in the Office of Advancement. She has over 10 years of experience working in fundraising, event logistics, and production services.

A Kentucky native, Galentine graduated from Belmont University with a bachelor’s degree in science.  Prior to joining CU, she was self-employed working in fundraising and event logistics for multiple non-profits and for-profits throughout the Southeast, such as Friends of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, Sisken Children’s Institute, and Greater Birmingham Humane Society.  She co-owned a retail clothing store called Southern Threads in Kentucky.

Mrs. Galentine is married to songwriter Bryan Wayne Galentine and they have two boys, Grayson and Bennett, who love to follow Cumberland Athletics, especially baseball, basketball, golf, and football.

She loves to read, travel and run, though “running” often means from one sporting event to another with her young boys.

Her favorite quote is from Maya Angelou: “They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”
