Mrs. Minsky is an Instructor of Mathematics at Cumberland University. She has taught Dual Enrollment College Algebra and Statistics at Watertown High School and is currently teaching dual enrollment and on campus mathematics classes. She was an employee of the Wilson County Board of Education from 2007-2016 as a teacher at Watertown High School. Mrs. Minsky has taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry, Precalculus and AP Calculus. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Mrs Minsky has worked for ACT writing test items and as a grader for Pearson’s edTPA portfolios for new student teachers. Complementing her education in Computer Science, Mrs. Minsky is currently enrolled at Emporia State University pursuing graduate coursework in Mathematics and Statistics. One of her current research interests involves predictive analytics. Prior to working for the Wilson County Board of Education Mrs. Minsky taught Computer Science at Vanderbilt University (June 1997 – May 2003 ) and at Cumberland University (June 1988 – August 1997).
