BIOGRAPHY:

Ms. Courtney Lauren Vick graduated from the Harpeth Hall School in Nashville in 2008 where she was Student Body President and a three-sport athlete. She went on to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she graduated magna cum laude and received her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Electronic Media in 2012. Upon graduation, she was recognized as a Torchbearer, the highest honor bestowed upon a student. She entered the workforce as an intern and sales assistant for Custom Packaging, a high-quality manufacturer of corrugated cartons, graphics packaging, and P-O-P displays located in Lebanon.

In June 2014, Ms. Vick enrolled in Cumberland's MBA program and accepted a position as a Graduate Assistant. She worked with the Executive Director of General Education and First Year Experiences on projects including the freshman service day, CONNECT, the Colloquium, and as a graduate teaching assistant. In March of 2015, she accepted the role of Acting Director of the Academic Enrichment Center where she worked with tutoring, testing, and proctoring services. She graduated from Cumberland University with her MBA in summer 2015. Upon graduation, she moved into the role of Director of Academic Enrichment Center. Currently, Ms. Vick is the Director of Residence Life and teaches several courses at Cumberland including FSL and CIS 170. She also sits on several committees and boards including the Admissions Committee and the Academic Integrity Board. She is CU's Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature (TISL) advisor. In her spare time, Courtney volunteers for Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society as a Section Coordinator and was recently selected to serve as a council member on the University of Tennessee's Young Alumni Board. She resides in Lebanon, where she has lived since August 1996.
