BIOGRAPHY:

I received my BS in Geography from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and my MA in French from the University of Mississippi in Oxford.  I was a translator for Delta Air Lines in Salt Lake City and have taught French at BYU, Ole Miss, the University of Tennessee, and Mount Juliet High School where I am currently on the faculty.  I have conducted student trips to Quebec, France, Belgium, and Switzerland.  I began learning French while in high school in Hong Kong and continued my French studies while living in France and Belgium for two years during college.  While at U.T. I designed its online French program, was named Educator of the Year in 2011 by the East Tennessee College Alliance, and was twice nominated as Faculty of the Year at U.T.  I'm also a past president of Pi Delta Phi French National Honor Society.
