Attendance Waiver
All undergraduates are required to attend the Commencement ceremony. Attendance exceptions will be made by the Dean of the appropriate school or the Dean’s Council only in cases of extreme extenuating circumstances. If you anticipate such a situation, which will prevent you from attending, please complete the form below prior to
April 15th for permission to graduate in absentia.
Graduate students are not required but are encouraged to attend the Commencement ceremony. If your plans to attend the ceremony have changed since you completed the Intent to Graduate form, please notify the University by completing the form below.
