Residence Life: News & Announcements

Living on campus next year?
The time to register for classes as well as reserving your room accommodations for next year is quickly approaching! Applications are currently available online and outside the Office of Residence Life. This year, housing applications will be accepted in the following categories and time frames:
  • March 17-20: Students who have 90+ hours completed
  • March 24-28: Students who have 46-89 hours completed
  • March 31-April 4: Students who have 0-45 hours completed
IMPORTANT TIPS TO CONSIDER WHEN APPLYING OR REAPPLYING
  • Make sure that if you plan to live in the Commons and want to live with specific people that all who wish to live together list one another on their form. If not all members of the group list the same people, your applications will be held until you resolve the confusion among yourselves.
  • Residents currently living in a specific unit and/or room have priority in choosing that room if there is interest from another resident with the same or lower credit hours completed.
  • Make sure that all contact information on your application is complete and accurate so that we may contact you with any questions we may have while processing your application.
  • When the application time period for your credit hour category begins, please turn in your completed application as soon as possible. Your applications will be accepted for priority consideration until 4 p.m. on the last day of your specific window of time.
  • Remember: first-come, first-served, so the sooner your application is turned in the more likely you are to be given your roommate, room, unit and/or building of choice.
  • If you don't reapply by the last date, April 4, it will be assumed that you are not returning to campus housing and no room reservation will be held for you. You may apply after April 4; however, the likelihood of receiving your first choice is slim.
