The Patrons' Party

Cumberland University is enthusiastically preparing for its 2014 Patrons’ Party. Promising a night of summer fun and festivities to precede Cumberland’s Phoenix Ball, the Patrons’ Party will be held at the beautiful Lebanon home of Brandon and Linlee Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5.

A college-themed gathering, the Patrons’ Party will feature live music from the world famous Super T and the Tyrone Smith Revue, a wide selection of food, and an opportunity to mix and mingle at the Allen’s riverside home. A relaxed soiree, the event will call for business/fun casual dress.

The Patrons’ Party on June 5 will serve as an enchanting prelude to the 31st annual Phoenix Ball scheduled for June 7. A premier charity event, the Phoenix Ball has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of Cumberland’s deserving students. This year’s gala as well as the Patrons’ Party will directly benefit the University’s athletic programs, which have taken on even greater significance as the University prepares for its move to the NCAA.

For immediate assistance with guest registrations or sponsorship information for either event, visit the Phoenix Ball website at or contact the Office of Advancement at (615) 547-1269.
