Three athletic training students were honored at the School of Education Awards Banquet on April 15, 2008 at Cumberland University. Kurt Braundmeier, Danielle Green, and Courtney Martin were among the students that were honored. Kurt, a May 2008 graduate of Cumberland University and the Athletic Training Education Program, has been an outstanding student as well as a scholar athlete. Danielle Green and Courtney Martin will graduate in December of 2008. Both of these young ladies have been involved in many aspects of CU from campus life to numerous organizations. All of these students have been involved in the Athletic Training Student Association (ATSA) as officers for the past two years. We, in the Athletic Training Education Program, are very proud of Kurt, Dani, and Courtney.
