2009 Summer Camps

Cumberland will offer four summer camps in 2009 throughout the month of June and into July. All camps include a free t-shirt, use of CU baseball facilities and one-on-one instruction with NAIA Hall of Famer and Bulldog skipper Woody Hunt and camp instructors.

2009 Camp Dates are as follows:
Hitting Camp - June 8-11 (Camp Brochure - PDF)
Fundamental Camp - June 15, 17-19 (Camp Brochure - PDF)
Pitching Camp - June 22-25 (Camp Brochure - PDF)
Advanced Fundamental Camp - July 6-9 (Camp Brochure - PDF)

Hitting Camp: The first session runs from 9 a.m. to Noon and is open to campers ages six to nine. The second sessions runs from 1-4 daily and is open to campers ages 10 to 12. Cost is $85 per camper. The Hitting Camp emphasizes techniques of hitting and teaching devices will be used to help teach proper hitting mechanics.

Fundamental Camp: The Fundamental Camp is reserved for campers ages eight to 14 and will be held daily 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $160 per camper and includes lunch. The Fundamental Camp emphasizes fundamentals in all aspects of the game and will include game situations and scrimmages.

Pitching Camp: Open to campers ages eight to 14, the Pitching Camp will be held daily from 9 a.m. to Noon. Cost is $85 per camper. The Pitching Camp will stress the basic and advanced fundamentals of pitching.

Advanced Fundamental Camp: Hitting, throwing mechanics and the fundamentals of each position will be emphasized as part of the Advanced Fundamentals Camp. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to Noon daily. Cost is $85 per camper and is open to players ages 14 to 18.
