Alumni & Friends

Alumni, consider this – Cumberland University was one of the first choices you made that affected you for a lifetime. That’s a connection worth keeping. So subscribe to our new alumni newsletter. Join an alumni organization. And come back to Cumberland for special events, like homecoming and the annual Phoenix Ball. That’s an open invitation for area residents and friends, too.

You may not realize the extent of Cumberland’s community impact. Did you know that 88% percent of our students are from Tennessee – a majority of whom stay here after graduation to become community leaders across all sectors? That’s why we need and count on your support. Consider annual giving or contributing to our Capital Campaign. What you give, you’ll most certainly get back in community benefit.

CU Day at the Nashville Predators a Great Success!

Our first ever "Cumberland University Day at the Predators" was a huge success.  On March 22, 2008,  over 110 Alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students, and members of the community were present to see the Nashville Predators win in an Overtime Shootout against the Chicago Blackhawks.  There were even a few celebrity sightings as actor Jimmy Fallon and country music star Vince Gill were at the game.  With the great success and turnout at this event, we plan to bring it to you again next season.  Look forward to an even bigger and better event for the 2008-2009 hockey season!
