Transfer Admissions Requirements

Less than 30 hours of college coursework:

  • Minimum of 21 ACT composite score or 980/990 SAT Critical Reading and Mathematics combined score.  (Students twenty-five (25) and older will not be required to submit high school transcript/GED score or ACT or SAT score as long as the college transcript states a high school diploma or GED was received.)

  • Minimum 3.00 high school grade point average (unweighted)

  • Official academic transcript(s) (including Dual Enrollment Courses) from every college or university you have attended.

  • A non-refundable $25 application fee ($50 for international students). 

  • Completed Application for Admission.

  • Immunization records (printable form).

  • Cumberland University notifies the applicant of his/her admission status as soon as all necessary documentation/credentials have been received. Questions concerning the admission status of a prospective student should be addressed to Lori Long, llong@cumberland.edu.
