CLEP Testing
Cumberland University offers CLEP testing for the following courses:
- ENG 101, 102, 215, 216
- POL SCI 223
- PSY 201, 211, 212
- HIS 111, 112, 201, 202
- ECON 241, 242
- SOC 221
- MATH 111, 112, 121
- BIO 100, 111
- CHEM 111, 112
- ACC 211, 212
- BUA 340
- CIS 300
- MGT 363
- MKT 362
There is a $80.00 fee per exam, payable by check or credit card, at the time of testing. Exams are 90 minutes long and a score of 50 (equivalent to a “C”) is required in order to grant the examinee credit for the class.
To be eligible to take a CLEP examination, you must be a Cumberland student. You must also not have been enrolled in the class you are attempting to CLEP for a period of time longer than the drop date to receive a grade of "W" and you can not be a Cumberland student in his or her's final 30 hours before graduation.
