Cumberland University has partnered with Google to provide a new Student Email system based on the Google Apps for Education service. Click here to learn more about it.

Cumberland University uses the same format for all student usernames:
First Initial, Middle Initial, Last Name and the Last two digits of the SSN.
Example: Samuel D. Jones, 123-45-6789 = sdjones89

Logging into start.cumberland.edu:
User Name: Your username as described above
Password: Last 6 digits of your SSN

If you have recently registered for an upcoming term and are unable to login to email, this is normal. Email accounts are not instantly created when you register for courses.

Generally, email accounts for new students and transfers are active 2 to 4 weeks before the start of your entrance term.
