Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Performance - Sport Management emphasis

This emphasis is designed for students who wish to work in the ever-growing sport industry.  According to publications such as the Sport Marketplace Directory, this industry includes over 15,000 employers.  The sport industry is now one of the largest industries in America and employs nearly 5 million people and this number grows at an alarming rate.  Among the numerous sporting events in America, the economic impact of many of these events can be measured in millions, and in some cases, billions of dollars.  Sport Management remains the fastest growing and most effective component of health and physical education.  The curriculum is designed to meet all of the prescribed content criteria for a sport management program in order to prepare our students for a career in the sport industry.
